All welcome.

2pm, Sunday 8th March

at the Cellar Arts Club, Worthing BN11 3QB

The Boss Of It All is a darkly-comic, cult film, written and directed by Lars von Trier, adapted for stage by Jack McNamara, exploring the absurdity of corporate culture, accountability, and the performance of leadership.

Ravn, the long-time owner of a Danish IT company, is selling his business for a substantial profit, but faces a major issue: to avoid being accountable for all his unpopular demands, he's pretended to be a low-level employee, blaming a fictional & absent "boss of it all" named Svend, for all the outlandish orders he himself has delivered via email, over the years. To sell his business, Ravn is forced to hire an actor to play the absent boss, leading to amusing and unsettling consequences.

Contains adult themes, language and humour.

Casting availability: 5 male, 3 female with no Danish required ;)

Rehearsing Wednesday and Sunday evenings from April 8th with a script read prior.
